Peleg Top is a creative entrepreneur. He was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and together with his family he moved to Los Angeles as a teenager.
In 1991, after working for six years as an in-house designer for a leading retail record store, he founded Top Design, a Los Angeles based design and branding firm. Soon thereafter grew it to become of the nation’s most sought after creative firms.
Top Design’s 17-year history includes work in the music, non-profit and special event industries. Noted for its clean and sophisticated design, clear thinking and simple approach, the firm has designed over 300 CD packages, created and launched identities and brands for some of the biggest companies and non-profits and created graphics and images for some of the most notable special events.
Top Design’s clients range from solopreneurs to small start up companies to industry giants. They have worked with notable clients including The Grammy Awards, Toyota, Universal, Sony BMG, Quincy Jones, Tiger Woods, Steven Spielberg, Warner Bros. Records, Technicolor, City of Hope and AIDS Healthcare Foundation just to name a few.
Peleg Top is the author and designer of the 8th volume of Rockport Publisher’s “Logo and Letterhead Design”, a prestigious 240 page book showcasing the best logo and identity design from around the world.
While Top Design is fully functioning with Peleg’s vision and spirit and a incredibly brilliant team, he is expending his creative business talents to other exciting arenas. He is the co-founder of Marketing-Mentor, a coaching and resource company for creative business growth. He teaches marketing, pricing and communication workshops and the author of the newly released book “The Designer’s Guide to Pricing and Marketing: How to find clients and what to charge them” (HOW Books).
To find balance and joy in his life, Peleg enjoys, daily yoga practice, weekly meditation at the beach, Netflix, reading way too many books and magazines, traveling abroad, his iPod and most of all – cooking fabulous food. Peleg lives in the neighborhood of Silverlake, Los Angeles with his partner of 12 years and one very spoiled Dalmatian.
